Abstract

This paper presents research study conducted through a unique four- month TEFL program launched at one of the privately run-andmanaged English teaching institute in Hyderabad with the slogan of NO BOOKS NO PENS! It is an interactive program based upon the book free communicative methods of teaching-learning English. This program acknowledges the space for various creative efforts in TEFL emphasizing teachers and learners to think beyond the traditional methods of teaching and shows that even Academic language can be taught without using books and pens. For this paper observational and survey method was used to collect the data. The collected data was qualitatively analyzed to evaluate the success/failure of model.
