Psychological Analyses Of The Character "Suhni" Depicted By Shah Abdul Latif

Abstract

Every Society has certain type of discipline, no one can break the traditions and customs because there is sublimated way to fulfill the instinctively desires. But in this story “Sohni Mehar” Shah latif has expressed his views about Sohni that she was rebellion against the traditions. It is not only for her desires of “ID” (Desire of Sex) but this was existential psychology in which the love can fulfill the void and absurd existence. Sohni was overwhelmed and committed in love. Here love is the way to discover the essence of inner side and also recognition of self-existence.
