Abstract

Muhammad Siddique Mussafir was born on 1st April, 1879 inTando Bago, Distrct Badin. He got early education in his home town. He became great Educationist, writer and poet of his time. He died on 24th September, 1961, at the age of 82 years and 6 months. He is buried in the heart of Tando Bago.
He was appointed as a Primary Teacher in 1897. Later on in 1912 he was appointed as a Persian and Sindhi teacher in 'Training College for Men Hyderabad. He also served as a head master at Lawrence Madrisa and School Tando Bago from 1920 to 1925 and was retired in March 1932.
He started his career as a writer by writing articles in 'Akhbar-e-Taleem' in 1903. He wrote hundreds of articles in this newspaper. He contributed in almost all genres of literature. In this paper I have discussed about his written, translated and compiled books.
