A Study of Mirza Kalich Beg’s Poetries Forms

Abstract

Mirza Kalich Beg was one of the best Aroozi poet of British period. He succeeds to practice all prosody forms. Like; Fard, Qatta, Rubai, Masnavi, Ghazal, Qasida, and many structure of Musamat. He made new changes in poetry to do it modernize as well as he adopted old tradition of poetry. There is a combination of Sindhi and Persian languages in his poetry. Kalich’s poetry is a treasure of linguistic, lexicography, daily routin topics, Imagination, Mysticism, and his poetry is also dept of literary features as Pun, Idioms, Simile and Metaphor. In this paper I have tried to analyze Mirza’sprosodic forms from his poetry along with some his ideology explanations. In short the Mirza Qalich Beg has played an important role in the Aroozi poetry. His name should be written ingoldenletters upon the silver pages in the history of Sindhi literature. Because he was a very hard worker poet. Due to long sphereof this topic there is not a comprehensive study in this paper, therefore Kalich chair should have originate research about this topic in the circle of M.Phil or P.HD thesis.
