Power Optimization of Wind Turbines by the Adjoint Method

Abstract

This study aims to simulate the position of wind farms such as to find those positions of the wind turbines that maximize the power production and minimize the cost of operation and maintenance, keeping in view the constraints of space (available land) and the minimum distance between adjoining turbines.
