About the Journal

The Journal of Studies in Applied Linguistics and English Literature is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Institute of English Language and Literature, University of Sindh, Jamshoro. It provides a platform for scholars, researchers and educators to present original research, critical analyses and innovative practices in the fields of Linguistics, Applied linguistics and Literature. The journal is published biannually and welcomes contributions from both national and international academics aiming to promote scholarly dialogue and advance knowledge in Applied Linguistics and English Literature.

Scope:

The journal covers a wide range of areas within English Linguistics, Applied Linguistics and Literature. It seeks to publish research articles, reviews and theoretical papers that explore language structure, use and teaching as well as critical and comparative literary studies. The scope includes but is not limited to:  Applied Linguistics, Semantics, Discourse Analysis, Sociolinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, Literary Theory and Criticism, Digital Literature, Postcolonial Literature and interdisciplinary research linking language and literature. The journal aims to foster both theoretical inquiry and practical application.
