Abstract

This paper presents the study over the structural style and hydrocarbon potential of Jabo field located in Southern Sindh Monocline, Southern Indus Basin of Pakistan with the help of integration of seismic data and wireline logs. Seismic interpretation reveals that the structure Jabo field and in surroundings there are tilted normal fault which are collectively forming the Horst and Graben type of structures. Wire Line Log interpretation and TOC calculation shows that Turk and Badin shale are prolific source rock in the southern Sindh Monocline.
