Evaluation of effectiveness of Web-Based Learning

Abstract

In this study an attempt is made to assess the effectiveness of supplementary web-based materials and activities in computer programming courses using statistical methods. We have collected data on 66 students (of the department of Computer Systems and Software Engineering Mehran University of Engineering and Technology Jamshoro) from three classes: 01C8, 01SW, and 2KCS that describe various characteristics, use of web-based learning resources, and performance on graded quizzes and examinations. We use this data to evaluate the effectiveness of the web-based learning material.
