Abstract

Results indicated that the population of Spodopteralitura (F.) on October and December sown crops was highest on cauliflower and lowest on carrot crops. Similarly the population of Agrotisypsilon (Rott) in both sowing months was noted highest on spinach and lowest on brinjal crops. The statistical analysis showed that the population of both pests was significantly higher in December sown (late) crops as compared to October sown (early) crops
