MANAGEMENT OF QUEUEING SYSTEMS

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide a survey of operation research results of management of queueing systems. The emphasis is on the results themselves and how these results may be useful for problems of practical nature, rather than theoritical derivations, Two main issues on the subject areas namely, static design and dynamic control issues are discussed. Finally a brief look at the management of MRP system is given.
