Abstract

In the present article the Stratigraphic Code of Pakistan has been reviewed. The exercise originates the opinion that the Code is incomplete and it ought to have been revised. The apparent insufficiencies of remarks on a number of stratigraphic units remaining in the Code are discussed. The categories of stratigraphic units, the Code not dealt with are defined due to their defensible scope and applicability.
