SOME PERFORMANCE OF A REPAIRABLE CIMS TRANSFER LINE WITH TWO MACHINES

Abstract

Consider a repairable CIMS (Computer Integrated Manufacturing System) transfer line consisting of two un reliable machines and a single storage buffer. A new model is taken where two general distributions are discussed. Having deliberated on the entire processing time of particular CIMS transfer line it is found that the model discussed in this paper is equivalent to a queuing system C2/G/1/N from the view point of the performance measures
