Abstract

Eight spécies of Alkaloid-bearing poisonous plants are identified, from the Thar-desert of Pakistan. The morphological features of the plants, and their alkaloids, with their names and empirical formula and the symptoms of poisoning are given. This paper will help in identifying poisonous plants, and also provide information about their toxicity
