Preliminary Study on the Core Competence of a Leader

Abstract

Across the globe, the development of any organization, the leader is the emerging important element of the core competitiveness of its construction that shaping the competitive world edge. This is one of the key ideas that have a very important significance integrated the view of the origination with leadership confidence and innovation. In many of the leaders, the core competence of the leader is a key role in different situations can do uniquely well and become more effective leaders. Through analyzing and summarizing the existing leadership related research and defines the concept of core competence of leaders, extracted from the 20 leaders’ core competence by using the critical incident interviews that aspiring leaders with developing the competencies, skills, and abilities that are associated with leadership effectiveness.
