Leadership and Managing Organizational Change: Theoretical Analysis of Challenges and Opportunities

Abstract

This paper argues that the nature and outcome of organizational change depends on the way it is planned and led by the leaders. In addition, the paper looks at the role of team leader in managing organizational change. The role of leadership in implementing new change has received widespread attention in the field of management. The role of leaders in business has emerged as a multi-dimensional aspect of performance. One of these dimensions of leadership is to manage change in the organization. This study describes the dynamics of change and examines the role of a leader. In addition, it suggests the ways in which the leader can utilize his abilities to deal with the new change.
