Abstract
It is the responsibility of the board of directors to ensure good corporate governance. This involves a set of relationships between the management of a corporation, its board of directors, its stockholders and other relevant stakeholders. Accordingly, the board of directors must agree on the corporation’s purpose (what it is for), its values (what it stands for) and the strategy to achieve its purpose.
