Abstract

Results indicated that the population of Spodoptera, litura on October and December som crops was highest on cauliflower and lowest on carrot crops. Similarlary the population of Agrotis, ypsilon on both sowing months was noted highest on spinach and lowest on beingel crops. The statistical analysis showed that the population of both pests was significantly higher on December sown (late) crops as compared to October sown (early) crops.
