COPYRIGHT POLICY

University of Sindh Journal of Information and Communication Technology (USJICT)

The University of Sindh Journal of Information and Communication Technology (USJICT) is an open access journal published by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan.

Copyright Ownership

Authors who publish in USJICT retain the copyright to their work. The journal does not require authors to transfer copyright ownership to the publisher.

License and User Rights

All articles published in USJICT are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license.

Under this license:

  • Readers are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of articles.

  • Users may reuse and adapt the material for non-commercial purposes, provided appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the journal.

  • Any reuse must include a proper citation of the original publication in USJICT.

Author Rights

Authors publishing in USJICT:

  • Retain full copyright of their work

  • May self-archive the published version of their article in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other non-commercial repositories

  • May reuse their work in future publications (e.g., books, theses, teaching materials), with appropriate citation to the original publication in USJICT

Journal Rights

By submitting and publishing in USJICT, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right to:

No Commercial Use

Articles published in USJICT may not be used for commercial purposes without explicit permission from the copyright holder (author).

Open Access Commitment

USJICT provides immediate open access to all its content without embargo and does not charge any Article Processing Charges (APCs). This policy aligns with the principles of open scholarship and supports the free exchange of scientific knowledge.
