Abstract

In this research work, time–marching finite element method for numerical simulations has been used to investigate the flow of
Newtonian fluid through a sinusoidal tube. A semi–implicit Taylor–Galerken/pressure–correction scheme is utilised to obtain the steady–
state results. A main objective of present work is to investigate the effects of inertia and impact of undulation on the flow field.
