Constant Pressure Mitigation Techniques in Agile Software Development: An Empirical Survey in SME's Pakistan
Abstract
Many software developer companies embraced agile methods for the development because of their proven advantages as regards agility, consistency and responsiveness. However, companies are faced with significant challenges in adopting these approaches. In general, this study explores the dynamics of software development teams working with Agile in Pakistan. As little previous research is available targeting their concerns, we have conducted a survey from the SMEs in Pakistan. We have been focusing on key problem areas in the challenges that are faced by the agile software development teams. The survey examines the key pressure situations with agile practice among SMEs and can be used as a guideline in software organizations those adopting agile methods in Pakistan or similar developing countries.
